...fields intended for cricket but today for improvised games with dogs and cricket bats... by half a dozen people who’ve even brought dogfood in a dish marked Angelo... ‘it’s an Italian name’ says the one who is informally organising their still playful departures... and waving as they go...
and now suddenly the fields are almost empty of dogs and people... but spirit of spontaneous vivacity remains... and sombre thoughts cease... in fields of unexpected joy...
